about this contributor:

RIC CARFAGNA is a poet preferring an 'alternative' utterance. He lives in rural central Massachusetts with his wife, cellist Mary Carfagna. His most recent work is an e-book entitled L@XL which is due out this fall by xpress(ed) publications. Noetic Leavings is from Notes On Nonexistence (Section IV.V) which is also scheduled for publication in the fall of 2002. Notes On NonExistence is an ongoing multi-chapbook serial project whose basic emphasis is on the perception of reality in all its manifestations and how we deal with the collective consciousness both individually and as a participant in a greater whole. It is not necessarily negative or nihilistic in its tone, despite what the title may imply. It is rather a tome of hope and aspiration to the possibility of seeing every-thing as an integral part of an inevitable transcendence.
