MICHAEL IVES is a musician, composer, and writer living in the Hudson Valley. As a founding member of the performance trio, F'loom (which he left in 2000) his work was featured on National Public Radio, the CBC, on radio programs throughout Europe, and in the international sound poetry anthology, Homo Sonorus. His poetry and short fiction have appeared in numerous periodicals, here and abroad. He is currently at work on a collection of essays devoted to his experiences as a jazz musician.
