about this contributor:

LAUREN RYDER WILLIAMS is a born and bred Detroit-girl, but is an alien on her own native soil. She chooses to use this marginalization as delicious food for poetic thoughts. And as the stars have finally aligned and given blessing, she is in the process of co-birthing her baby, Soul Soliloquy: Hush No More, a stage piece rooted in realism and emancipation. Williams is also crafting her first book of poetic essays, As It Comes: Poetic Intercourse.
