GEORGE DICKERSON

GEORGE DICKERSON has been on the editorial staffs of The New Yorker, Story (The Editor), and Time magazine (Contributing Editor). His poems have appeared in The New Yorker, Mademoiselle, and Rattapallax. A First-Prize winner of the 1999 Lyric Recovery International Award and of the 2001 Medicinal Purposes Literary Award, his "Selected Poems 1959-1999" (160 pages) was published by Rattapallax Press in 2000. His short stories were anthologized in The Best Americian Short Stories of 1963 and 1966. As an actor, he is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
